I'm getting this in like every time

fish has 20 BB's so i dont see how folding would be right, if he shows KK or something so be it

he seems terrible and i just can't fold good hands to terrible players

I don't fold AK for 20BBs against most good shortstackers, I certainly wouldn't against one with those stats.

Even if you're facing KK, you're getting 2.17:1 on your call (assuming button folds), meaning you need 31.5% equity for a call to be profitable, and you're a 70/30 dog against kings. With those stats, his range is wider than just AA/KK.

Also, since the button is still left to act and only has 30BBs, I would actually raise here to make sure he at least has to call for his stack if he wants to keep playing.

From what I have noticed the shortstack players who play with 20BB love to re-raise with their pocket pairs and will play coin flips all day long. I've played about 35k hands at NL 50 on FT and this always seems to be the case. Once in awhile you will run into AA here, but like everyone else has state, you are probably flipping. Heck I have even seen lots of these shortstacked players go all-in with A-Js or A-Qs here in which case you are a pretty big favorite. I'm not sure on the exact odds.

With his stats, I see him on a pocket pair (most likely) or Ax. Saying to himself, I'm short stack I could double up, it's only money... (Definitely if he has been losing money while at this table)
So I'd shove without hesitation. I would raise enough to take the BTN in also.
But you have AK, I'd take the shot.
