$50 NL HE Full Ring: AJs Good Spot To Bluff Check Raise ?

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 14/10/2

Is this a good spot to bluff check raise, villian cbets 84% and folds to 3bet of 75%. This board is perfect I think to bluff/check raise I think as his range is wide from the CO still and he may think my range is low PPs and SCs

Good line or not?

I think the thinking and the line is fine.

I probably 3 bet preflop though.

Pre-flop, if villain has a high attempt to steal and a high fold to 3-bet, I definitely like 3-betting this. Especially if he is positionally aware with his raises. In HEM, the default pop-up when you hover over the pfr stat shows you the percentage he raises from each position. If that increases as villain's position gets better, a high ATS combined with a total 10% PFR solidifies my read of a wide steal range.

As played, I like the check/raise, especially with his weakish c-bet, but I would make it bigger. If you actually had 2 pair+, would you make it that cheap for draws? Make it like $7.50 - $8.00.

yea, ch/r is fine here, but make it way bigger. Like GunslingerZ said, do you ever raise to $5 here with a set? Make it atleast $7 to go.

TBH gunslingerz I always would 3bet this normally but if he is folding this then what is the point AJs is going to be well ahead of his stealing range and we are just losing value if he folds.
Thanks for the advice on the bet size though good point.
