Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is UTG with 8 :club: 8
Hero raises to $1.75, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls $1.75, 4 folds, SB calls $1.50, 1 fold

Basically, I am pretty sure I have the best hand and the villain has AK. My initial reaction is to raise his bet 2.5x. What do ya think?

Bet the flop.

As played, flatting seems best in order to keep UTG+2 in.

Fold. Middle set is never good at Rush poker.

I'd bet the flop next time, just because c/r-ing here narrows your range so much. In this spot, we can make the smaller raise and bet all-in on the turn, if the board were more connected I'd just shove now and get draws to pay the maximum.

It depends on your opponent. If he is the type to stack off with TPTK then just shove hear. Problem is if your opponent is quality then either a bet or call will cool him off. So I'd raise him to $18.

This the problem with checking after we have the initiative preflop... like no matter what we do our range looks strong as hell.

Just bet the flop and hope Kx shovels money in.

As played I'd probably just call. Yea this SCREAMS monster, but check reraising does as well, and a lot of the times the original better will feel compelled to call the raise with such a good price and given the fact that he closes the action for the street. On top of this we have position on the SB which will ensure the turn doesn't get checked through since we can always bet if he checks. Furthermore the board is so dry that no 5 card hand is possible no matter what comes onthe turn

Yeah I never check the flop in this situation. You bet preflop, so you should be throwing out a cbet on this board....its expected. As played I think you have to call, because (like previously stated) nothing on the turn should really worry you and shoving here would get Kx to fold (which we don't want).

Fold preflop. And play with a 100bb stack.

as played just call. You can't have a draw here, so check raising just screams "i has a set". If you do want to raise, just shove.
