Here's two hands from other night online 50NL. What would you have done?

Hand 1:

Hero on button with AQs..

Checks to CO who 3x bets. Hero 3 bets (doubles initial bet), folds to UTG+1 who calls, then MP2 calls, and CO calls.

Flop comes 22Q rainbow.

Checks to Hero. Hero bets about half to 3/4 pot.

UTG+1 folds, MP2 tanks then shoves remaining stack in, CO folds.

Hero?

Hand 2:

Hero on button with KQs.

Checks around the hero. Hero 3x bets. SB calls, everyone else folds, we go heads up to flop.

Flop is A10J rainbow. Hero flops nut straight.

Hero bets about 1/3 pot, SB insta calls.

Turn is 4c, still not flush draw out there.

Hero bets half pot, SB insta calls.

Rivers is A pairing the board and board is now AdJh10c4cAs.

Hero?

Hand # 1. If somebody had AA or KK, most likely would have seen a 4 bet. So that leaves something like A2 suited, which is entirely possible. So for me, not having a read, if I have less than 30 % of my stack in the pot, it's a fold a lot of the times. More than that it's a snap call.

Hand #2. Value bet the river and fold to a hard reraise.

Hand 1: We 3bet much more since there were limpers... i'd probably have made it x4 or x5 with the limpers. We have position against players who limped.

the flop is a snap call. KQ will easily do this and medium pocket pairs... if he has a 2 or slow played AA good luck to him... make note and move on, he made a bad play.

Hand 2: Just raise more on the flop, a lot of these types of boards the average player will make a lot more calling mistakes. Just think if you had AK and you were facing a 3/4 pot bet would you call top pair top kicker? Most players would at least pay 1 or 2 streets before realising they are beat and bad players will call all 3 streets.

River is the worst card ever. But we still bet because AK or AQ is still in there. Also depends on the opponent... the more junk in his range the more we can bet and feel good still.

If we get jammed on... we cant instant fold this... we look at our opponent and work out is he ever bluffing here or would do this with any Ace
Against a solid player sure we could fold this with the nuts... But yeah we need to analyse how our opponent has been playing is he tilting? playing any two cards? giving up... losing hard previously... a few factors.

Well read. AA or KK as called didn't make sense without seeing a 4bet pre flop. I figured if he had 22 or QQ it's NH and so it goes. Obviously I ruled out Q2 or most other 2 with face card, except A2 suited. Which, spoiler, of course it was. Pot wise I think it was about 20% of my stack in the pot at the time so probably a fold. I never considered folding, it's so fishy on the site that in these spots you do often see things like KQ, QJo or Q10o or a split with AQ. When I called and lost, a few loudmouths in the chatbox asked why I would call when it's clear villain had a 2. It definitely wasn't clear and I'm snap calling most shoves here.

Hand #2. Value bet the river and fold to a hard reraise.

Did a value bet, he shoves, only a few blinds more, I have to call, he has FH.

I agree, although I figured if I 3 bet bigger here and get 4 bet I'm probably folding.

the flop is a snap call. KQ will easily do this and medium pocket pairs... if he has a 2 or slow played AA good luck to him... make note and move on, he made a bad play.

I snap called, he shows A2 suited for three 2s.

Yeah I should have bet more on flop and turn, I figured I was trapping a 2 pair or smaller straight or missed flush draw. Guy turns over A4 off suit, remember turn was 4 and river was A to get his runner runner flush. So villian called a PFR with A4 off, called a bet on flop with a paired Ace weak kicker, called turn with a weak 2 pair, and rivered the FH. Your analysis is correct, he was playing any face card with any other card.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Both hands were Ace rags I was up against.
