Villain is 15/12 fairly capable reg over a small sample. Called the turn for SDV so is this a pretty clear check/call?

I don't know about c/c vs c/f. I'm inclining to c/f here. If he bluffs missed draws on the river a lot you can call, the problem is there are more jacks and tens with a higher kicker than draws, which besides KQ and 98s aren't much.

He's probably checking behind small pockets and tens, he will bet any jack and possibly missed draws, but after you called turn it's not so likely.
