Bet more on the turn. This one for me is a call as played. He could do this with TT-QQ as well as sets.

SB is clearly drawing and playing like a total beginner (his screen name plse)
I also agree that you need to bet much bigger on the turn. Bigger on the flop would help as well.
A bigger bet will give you much more information as to what you are facing. As played CO could have a very wide range. His 3bet is quite low so he could be flatting tt jj but they are just a few combos compared to many mid card combos which give him a pair and gushot and other pairs that would hang around like 77 55.
It's close for me there are so many hands you beat and as you both check the river CO has open field to bluff at this hand.
Why not bet half pot on the river and fold to a raise. That would have saved you 18bb over calling this river

and Tomnov...plse add some deails to your justify your one line opinions, I can't take you seriously otherwise.

Oh yeah completely forgot to say there.

Bet river is a must, we are losing massive value by not betting here.

In the end I just couldn't give him credit for having slow played a big hand, he just isnt the sort of player to do that. If he has 99 then so be it.

I called and he showed TT.

I do agree that I should be betting the river unless I plan to fold to a big raise which I obviously didn't so this was probably not the best play from me.

Raise flop more and turn more, and shove river. I think as played you're ahead of a river shove range, so given those odds it's a call.

I think the question is, and I just blogged about this, do you think he thought he was value betting or bluffing? :)

Well OP just showed results haha. But as you can see from my first post. I thought it was a value bet that we beat often enough to profit.

His hand has so much showdown value it just cant be a bluff. Its just a very poor value bet from him I think. I certainly won't have bet the river if I was the CO.

It could also be a case of over confidence. He was having an amazing session and he got carried away. I don't think he is making that sort of mistake next time.
