Reasoning for raising the turn after being check/raised on the previous street? As you may know you are beating nothing that you weren't already beating on the flop (well except 54 which is now drawing dead). Was it a you just min raised me so now I'm gonna min raise you right back for revenge kind of thing. I always feel that a little bit of illumination on the OP's thought process does a lot for these types of topics and for getting something out of it.

Well the V was playing rather bad that's why I raised him. I was cautious on the flop but then I am like this is 4 handed poker and he ain't beating me now after the turn.

3 bet pre.

Bet more on the flop.

As played its a tough spot. I think its possibly a fold but he could show up with worse every now and again.

Where is the 3bet pre flop ??

Definitely had such a good spot - on the button great hand to 3bet, If you had been playing even slightly aggressive then others will not be able to put you on a strong hand since you have position over all of them.

But having played the way you did folding will be a very bad idea here. So definitely calling the shove here as many worse ace can play like this too. :)

Ya I know I could 3 bet here, not 3 betting enough is currently a weakness of my game.

Anyways it wouldn't have changed the outcome of this hand.

I called and Villain showed 55. I didn't hit my 7 outer on the river. It's the sort of hand I can only ever get away with against a very well known opponent.
