Um...shove?

Edit: Sigh, I'm getting old. I thought the river was a heart. I was like wtf is he serious? Any significant river bet will essentially commit us, and since his AF is so high he may be liable to bluff raise us if we bet too small. So yeah, I probably still shove and expect to get looked up by worse, and occasionally by the feared flush. Very interested in what others have to say though.

I would call any bet including a shove, can't see a smaller bet ($20 blocking bet? meh), so my response is to shove. Trips and Qx will call a shove, obv we're behind to a lot of possible hands.

Note, however, that I'm getting killed in these spots against this villain type. It's never with the flopped fh, it's always a rivered flush or rivered fh.

Since I'm getting killed in these spots (results oriented ftw/fml), any good argument that this is a ch/f or bet/fold would be appreciated (I suspect Deco's in a similar spot) - I'm just not seeing it though.

He's either slow-rolling you or he's been looking to draw to the flush. Even so he should be scared of the paired board. I'd bet it hard enough to look like I'd made the flush or had a house all along and hope for the best.

Agreed with Itsme. You're not folding here - bet strong, be happy with a laydown, hope a call is with trip J.
