First time I folded KK pre-flop live or online. But as they say no good deed goes unpunished lmao.

iPoker - €0.50 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (MP): 122.12 BB
CO: 173.38 BB (VPIP: 47.50, PFR: 17.50, 3Bet Preflop: 13.51, hands: 84)
BTN: 100 BB (VPIP: 24.50, PFR: 19.61, 3Bet Preflop: 5.17, Hands: 5,796)
SB: 51.34 BB (VPIP: 58.91, PFR: 14.93, 3Bet Preflop: 6.98, Hands: 205)
BB: 275.96 BB (VPIP: 45.78, PFR: 18.07, 3Bet Preflop: 3.03, Hands: 84)
UTG: 100 BB (VPIP: 25.79, PFR: 15.44, 3Bet Preflop: 3.40, Hands: 2,649)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K:diamond: K:spade:

fold, Hero raises to 2 BB, CO raises to 8 BB, BTN raises to 20 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 18 BB, CO raises to 173.38 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 80 BB, fold

Flop: (221.5 BB, 2 players) 9:diamond: K:club: 2:diamond:

Turn: (221.5 BB, 2 players) 9:club:

River: (221.5 BB, 2 players) J:spade:

CO shows A:heart: A:diamond: (Two Pair, Aces and Nines)
(Pre 50%, Flop 52%, Turn 50%)
BTN shows A:club: A:spade: (Two Pair, Aces and Nines)
(Pre 50%, Flop 48%, Turn 50%)
CO wins 181.14 BB
BTN wins 107.74 BB

Now before you ask why did I fold anyways. Well the BTN just snapped cold 4 bet and snap called the 5 bet shove. I could just feel how strong he is. I knew if 1 of them has AA I am not getting the right price despite having called the 4 bet.

Sick spot. Seeing the stats of the CO, I'm always losing my money against him with KK when he's playing almost 50% of hands...I still feel like you have to go broke in this spot, seeing as the BUT is a solid player based off of his sample. If BUT is paying any attention to the CO, he should know this guy is 3betting a bunch of trash with a 13.5% 3bet percentage and should be 4 betting him with a wider range of value hands (JJs+, AK, maybe even 10s or AQs, idk). Even when CO jams, and BUT overjams, I still think button could do this with AK, QQs, etc. Maybe he folds jacks after you flat the 4bet, as that looks extremely strong...but still I don't think button is going to fold AK or QQs to the 5 bet of the fishy CO, which means you're still ahead of the majority of his range here...at least in my opinion, but you made the correct fold which was pretty sick and congrats on that! However, at .50NL 6max online with the dynamic of the fishy CO player and the solid player on the BUT, I feel like you probably will just need to go broke in this spot as folding KK here in the long run seems super exploitable considering the dynamics.

I think the BTN would tank a little with QQ/AK but he goes snap snap. I would have called had he tanked a little bit after the 5 bet.

Your fold is good that is poker! If be only one opponent played you should call, but when they play two opponents, on KK easily lose. You never know what cards show on flop, now it's easy to analyze.

You had a good instinct to fold. He put him on A, A can you were right. You can't be results oriented. Chalk it up as a sick read/fold.
