$50 NL HE 6-max: Resteal with 42s: Oops, did I want that card?

Like 2nd hand of session and my HUD wasn't working properly so I don't have any stats on this guy.

FWIW, he took an interminably long time before raising preflop, almost timing out, so I thought he had a marginal hand.

Having made my hand, I suppose I go with it? Or just fold to preserve table image.

p.s. I'm just posting this hand to prove to c9 I'm not a nit.

I'm going to vote for a fold preflop.

You also mention both "2nd hand at the table" and "preserving table image" which confuses me.

'preserving table image' is just silly. The value of our table image is small at micros anyways, and pales in comparison to the value of winning/losing the hand.

Preflop is fine, but I tend to fold these hands at the micros with no reads. With reads that villain is weak, sure I 3bet a shit ton IP, but whatever.

We turned a flush in a 3bet pot. We're never folding. I probably shove to get calls from weirdly played AcTx, Kx, Ac3x, QJ, AA, sets etc. I just don't see flushes doing this too often. My concern is more that he's a fish c/c flop with AQ or something then donk/folding the turn, whereas he might bluff the river should we flat the turn.

FYI he instacalled the flop so I thought that meant he was trapping with a huge hand (KK/TT/AA) or had a flush draw. I thought about folding because for him to donk out he must have a ton of equity (set, big club, or TT witha club) or a flush himself.

Thinking about it maybe flat is the best move...although i don't suppose i'm folding the river with a half PSB bet left?

I don't agree his range is only monsters and flushes, but even if it were, against a pretty wide (read: weighted against us) range of TONS of flushes, sets, AA and KT, we're doing fine:

Board: Td 3c Kc 6c
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 56.376% 56.38% 00.00% 893 0.00 { 4c2c }
Hand 1: 43.624% 43.62% 00.00% 691 0.00 { KK+, TT, 33, AcQc, AcJc, AcTc, Ac9c, Ac8c, Ac7c, Ac5c, Ac4c, Ac3c, Ac2c, KcJc, KTs, QcJc, QcTc, Tc9c, 9c8c, 8c7c, 7c6c, 6c5c, 5c4c, 4c3c, 3c2c, KTo }

We're also never getting folds from ANY of that range, so we clearly should be jamming before something kills our action or our actual hand.

Plus of course his range is actually wider, including Kx, Tx, QJ, random spazzes, bluffs etc, so our equity is clearly even better than this.

Don't even think of folding flushes in 3bet pots.

If you shove, his price will be $22 to win $78, no? What's he ever folding? If he somehow does this with JT, even THEN he'll be hard-pressed to fold with those odds.

Also, I agree with everything that Chuck said.

Preflop's fine. Our value in 3-betting comes from the flop cbet when they flat pre and miss the flop so I don't mind doing this IP at micros. You've got a hand that flops a good amount of equity sure I'd rather had like 86s or something but w/e it can't ever be a mistake to put more money in the pot IP unless he's a nit and only raising monsters. And yeah just ship turn.

You posted a thread where you consider folding a flush in a 3-bet pot to prove you're not a nit. Nice self ownage IMO.
