Well I did miss a ton of value here no doubt about it if I had 4 bet the flop it would have been so huge that I won't be stopping after that. Given our opponent I am certain I was in for a double up no way he is folding an open ender given how much he was in love with it. But obviously I could not possibly know what I was up against so do you think I played this fine?
When he bets the turn I had fully made up my mind to fold the river if I don't boat up. So I was not going to pay him off in case he did have a straight.
But considering the sort of opponent we have here would it have been the right play to just consider set vs straight a cooler and ship it on the flop?
