$50 NL HE 6-max: Just stick it in here with AKo?

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 35/20/3

Sorry if this is pretty standard...got rusty from not posting in a while.

UTG has a really wide opening range, which is why I didn't 3-bet. As a habit I don't 3-bet UTG very often with anything. I had been at this table about 35 hands and had 3-bet her 3 times, she folded each time. She also folded when I clicked it back on her after a check-raise on the flop (I had OESD + FD). BTN in this hand is a total fish as you can tell with any 2 cards. SB in this hand seems to be a habitual squeezer (had 3-bet from the blinds twice vs. raisers, and probably is aware UTG raises light even UTG). I considered flatting this as I felt I could totally outplay him postflop and I also wondered if BTN would stick his stack in with any pair/Ace.

Still, I guess this is an obvious shove -- I've underrepped my hand, I've been pretty aggro and it's an obvious squeeze spot and effective stacks are 114 BBs, ya?

Stacks:
baudib1 with $94.60
BTN with $17.10
SB with $66.15
BB with $10.00
UTG with $58.60
MP with $51.75

Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
Site: full tilt poker
Dealt to baudib1:K♣ A♦
Sklansky group 2
Preflop:
UTG raises to $1.75
1 players fold.
Hero calls [$1.75] BTN calls [$1.75]
SB raises to $9.25
Hero?

I 3bet AK here for value tbh and because you are typically going to be in a multiway with a TPTK type hand which isn't cool.
Im more inclined to 3bet again here vs UTG as you say you have been 3betting her alot and this time you have a monster so UTG may spaz out and jam like AQ/AJ type hands which you have crushed.

I would look at SB's squeeze stat if you have a decent sample on him, I dont mind flatting if you think you have a postlfop edge plus it gives the BTN fish a chance to stay in the hand.

tbh I need stats on SB to think he is squeezing light after the pot is already 3way.

bonus -- SB only has $57 left so a 4-bet to $35 pot commits us.

Don't have a lot of stats on SB. Good point on 3-betting UTG to make her spaz with worse. He had 3-bet three times from the blinds. The only hand where he went to showdown was where he raised UTG and I called/floated flop/turn bets with AQ unimproved for a $19 pot (he had T9o).

honestly I felt that with UTG's weird range that AK was the nuts and I was really slowplaying it, but yeah I should isolate her.

I would 4bet to like 27 tbh if I was going to 4bet maybe 30ish.

I just really dont know if SB would be squeezing light 4way here its most likely to be QQ+/AK if he isnt but if we have no reads, plus we are 110 odd BBs deep.

Given you say he has 3bet alot recently I dont mind a jam but Im not sure if a fold is also an option but we have completely under repped our hand here so Im not entirely sure lol.

Shove!

You have 30% chance to win against KK. Coinflip if villain has QQ... You will be pretty good if you get called by AQ/AJ

He simply does not have enough to scare you out. Shove, because you don't have a made hand and if you call or re-raise & called - you don't know what to do if no K or A on flop :)

3betting AK is as standard as it gets. It is rare circumstances that will cause us to merely call with it and we are never ever just calling against this guy.

The three reasons you listed for cold calling are all reason why you should be 3betting.

Villains stats : He's a fish cake, your gunna value town KJ AJ AQ KQ etc

Wide range UTG: Weaker range = more folds = more money

3bet history = "omgz I must take a stand and shove AQ" Ka-ching!:icon_sant
