Pre's dependent on how wide he opens SBs and how much he folds to 3-bets but it can be fine. Flop is just plain spew and I think you realize that. I probably just fold when he leads that humongous then call is bad but would be better than shoing. Shoving is just donating money to him though you're like never good and your 5-high redraw isn't good often enough to do anything but fold.

Pre is horrible imo. A huge fish simply won't be folding enough here to 3bet bluff. If I was going to bluff a fish here (doubt I ever would) I'd at least pick something that can hit some good flops 45s etc. Just realized villain isn't fully stacked, this makes the 3bet even worse.

A few days ago. Back down now. I think this was the only hand I really tilted on.

and moved back down to what limit? didnt know where you were to start off..

but anyway, even if you only tilted on one hand you have no excuse.. throwing away a BI of profit because you're mad is kinda stupid.. if you win at say 5BB/100 then thats like 1k hands just to make back your losses and if you win at less then thats even more time you could be earning profit in.

He actually hit a RF in this hand just to rub it in. I started at 2nl and ran up through the limits. So atm Im back at 25nl. Got about $900 plus loads in bonuses available, although I think Im gonna stick it out at 25nl until I've improved. Dont think I can hack it at 50nl just yet.

So whats the craic with this Skype thing? Do we talk over hands or rail?

Im up a little over $500 over 50k hands at 25nl. I know its not a big sample but its a good sign. Maybe I just run good permanently and thats how I've made it this high.

Not the case obv, you just need to take it for what it was, the usual shot take that went a bit tits up (like they usually do) and try again in a bit.

After the constructive criticism I have had in these hands though, it seems like Im grossly misplaying them. So I dont really want to be going back to 50nl while Im this bad.

One thing I'd like to ask everyone is about my blind play.

Typically what hands are we going to be 3 betting vs a button/cutoff open? Normally I would flat a hand like KQs, after reading Phil Galfonds thread he said he would 3B 70% of the time.

I generally flat hands like AT, AJ and 3B AQ+. I would fold or 3B 22-88 and 3B 99+.

How would this range change blind vs blind, both when we are sb and bb. I know it depends on villain but a general range would be so helpful as I think Im quite leaky oop.

Maybe start another thread on 3betting and defending. But it's about ranges, so for example, you surely aren't 3betting/5bet shoving AQ for value vs all villains.

Haha I know I seem bad but nope AQ is not an auto stack
