In this hand I didn't like any lines I could have taken

This hand I played it pretty badly but I have no idea how to play it right.. Villain liked to float and I felt that a C-bet would have been getting called by any overs to the board +

Which meant to win this hand I would have to double barrel the turn (Unless I hit)

So I decide to check to keep the pot small with K high in position.. I was planning on raising the turn if an A or a Q doesn't hit the board.

The turn paired the board and villain checks, I didn't feel at the time that this was a good card to fire at it doesn't change anything and I would still be getting called to wide. So I check hoping to hit or just shut down on river

River brings the 4 of diamonds and villain min bets I've seen Villain min bet bluff countless times and the 4 doesn't scare me at all..

Raising the river was iffy I was probably ahead but didn't want to flat and him flip over Ace high, though if he had ace high I think Check/call or check/fold would of been better for him depending on my bet size if I fire out..

I would have checked if he checked but seen villains min bet bluff/ min bet folds a lot that I was confident I was getting a fold over 80% against him

My question for this hand is should I be C-betting this board against a guy who likes to float?

I just don't like the line of C-bet, (miss) double barrel or check, check/fold river..

IK the raise on the river was iffy it was based off of villain tendencies so don't look toooo much into that

If the villain like floating OOP, why are you afraid of double barreling? Your K high is definitely ahead here, so just c-bet here.

You're probably right dunno why I didn't C bet think I was leveling myself I was just thinking that it would make my turn decision more difficult since he is calling so often..

Was thinking about this hand some more and I dunno..

By betting this flop against a villain who is calling 80%+ of the time could become -EV, especially since better hands are never folding and we are opening our self to a check/raise forcing us to fold to a hand we had 32% equity against.

We also can gain more information if our opponent checks the turn after we checked behind on the flop then we would if villain checked the turn after we bet the flop

You did everything right in the hand based on the information you had on the villain and you even explained everything in detail what you did and why you did them - like not cbetting etc .. If you cbet it opens a door for a check raise and make it tough for us to continue on such a wet board. Perfectly played hand - waited till the end, saw weak bet on river, attacked it right away and won the pot. Just plain brilliant - I dunno why some people try and criticize some of their own plays which are so brilliant. Why do they try and find some fault or the other with the way they played the hand even though the won the pot. They just can't see for themselves how well they played the hand .. Nothing wrong with the hands played by players on both these threads but they still try to fault themselves or be negative for some reason.

Also as was said to me by some peeps when i was himming and hawing regarding the tracker, just make the purchase it will pay for itself if you plan on doing any serious grinding........and so glad I did........although I did take down carbbon cc game last night hudless lol.....seems tournies not importing correctly or something in the tracker.

Haven't been doing the ladder been waiting for Carbon to say if they are going to add a reward system.
