What I saw on the guy:
royheart.jpg

He had chased me of two big pots earlier. We was up about $100, and taking a lot of pots without a showdown.

Stats on deltr?

Against the 50/20 it's a clear push. If deltr is a nit maybe we can lay the hand down, but I get it in here like always.

One caveat: did you see him overbet preflop like this before? This would be a huge tell.

This is most often a medium pocket pair that feels ahead but does not want to play postflop, which is a range your queens crushes.

Deltr's stats: VPIP = 17%, PFR 5%, AF = 1.75
I'd been pretty active before this, so I think he didn't put me on much. Royheart was for sure calling that, and Deltrw36 didn't bet enough to isolate anybody, so a big pocket-pair wasn't a concern of mine (and he does indeed fold when I shove).

Yes, but not so much and not in a pot with so many people in it.

That is pretty scary, before deciding anything on the action, how many hands is the above stats across? and what deltr's 3betting percentage??

Because villain raised to such an absurd amount calling, then folding to nits push is out of the window, so we just need to make a judgment call after seeing deltr's 3 betting stat.

I'd seen him three-bet earlier, but he bet more. Really, I wasn't afraid of him at all. Had Rory folded, I'd have happily popped it up to $11 (though I'd have folded to a shove) and I'm petty sure he'd have folded.

Anyway, I specifically thought of some advice that ChuckTs gave me in a similar $25NL hand (and new I'd put this hand up for review, hence the screencap of royheart's stats) so I shoved.

I was especially pleased to see ChuckT's approval in this thread.

Unfortunately...

roryheart: raises $27 to $30
cole2006: folds
SvgePenguin: raises $21.45 to $51.45 and is all-in
deltrw36: folds
nazareneoh: folds
roryheart: calls $21.45
*** FLOP *** [5c 7c 4c]

*** SHOW DOWN ***
roryheart: shows [Ks Kc] (a pair of Kings)
SvgePenguin: mucks hand
roryheart collected $106.40 from pot

I hate how pokerstars doesn't reveal the other guy's hand until the end, because I was really happy with the board.
