Hey guys,

Villain is a very tight pre flop and generally plays pretty well post flop. Do you think this is a standard fold?

Also I see Rex and Tenbob have played against this guy before. Do you have any meaningful numbers on him or just general notes on his play?

If you're sure he's tight (been playing with him for quite a few hands) and he rarely does this, then yes, this is a fold. It's a sucky situation, best to just avoid it and move on.

Ah and keep in mind that he probably noticed that he's out of position for the rest of the hand, expect him to lead out at you no matter what comes so he keeps control, which only makes it harder. If he's someone that "plays pretty well post-flop" then trust me, he's NOT going to hand over control of the hand to you, he could even be willing to play for stacks here. Which strengthens my suggestion: Avoid it and move on.
