We just sat down at the table and villain is a unknown. Is TPTK good enough to call 3 barrels?

Yeah, I call river. He could have plenty of A's here, I think.

All draws missed, and our kicker still plays. Caaalllll.

I wouldn't mind raising the flop either.

What c9 and vanquish say, plus, dont fear the diamonds, he wasnt chasing that. He's got some kind of A; if 2 pr u got unlucky but u have to call.

or 8's or 2's obviously. Highly doubt this is a draw as without history villain would have to be spewy to triple barrel a draw here, especially when you probably hit trips on the river. But as said there are plenty of other aces out there that don't have 2 pair so i certainly wouldn't fold this river. With reads maybe, but vs an unknown you can't fold here imo.

I'd probably raise this flop actually and tbh i don't think you should hate stacking off with tptk on this flop (unless you are vs a solid villain) as there aren't really many 2 pair combos or sets (and not sure if sets would lead here...but again don't know vs unknown villain).

You shouldn't worry about it if you go broke in this situation...this is never spew and any differences in EV are extremely marginal. There are a billion other more common situations where you should worry about leaking money.

Value. Villain dependent obviously, but i'm happy stacking AK on this flop vs plenty of villains, and correctly so. AK is just a really strong hand on this board...you destroy any draws (not that there are many), any 2 pair combos are unlikely and only 6 total combos of possible sets.

But flatting is absolutely perfectly fine vs an unknown and tbh probably the best line until you are able to narrow down ranges. I just don't think you should be giving your average nl50 6 max villain much credit, especially if villain isn't in your database (unless your 50nl database isn't very big).

Who is villain btw? I have quite a few 50nl 6 max hands at stars.

My database is tiny as I only have about 20k hands at 50NL so far, of which less than 4k are on PS.

Villain is yav610.

Showdown:

Villain has A8, flopped two pairs and rivered a full house.

Obviously this was the top of his range. Still not sure if this was a good call or not.

Don't know how you could not call in that spot. Similar hand yesterday, with two aces and me holding AQ.......villan turned over A5 after 3 barelling out of position (at 25nl). In my book it is a definate call.
