I guess pre flop a is pretty standard spot for a call or is this too weak of a hand? Is there any merit to 3 betting?

On the flop, I'm tempted to call with my nut flush draw (and middle pair and bottom straight draw). Is there any value in raising in this spot? I guess I could be well ahead of straight draws and dominated flush draws, provided they don't have a better pair, but I'll be a dog vs made straights and sets.

If I call, how do I handle the turn?

So with your first question of whether we should be 3 betting preflop, what you need to think about here, is what do we achieve or try to do when we 3 bet? We have a middling straight hand where and a weak FD so we aren't going to be able to heap value when we hit our hand in certain ways.

The A adds an interesting dynamic in that it makes our hand really garbage when we get 4 bet but it's good to have Ax in your hand when 3 betting light to block original raiser having AAxx however it being PLO you get virtually no folds.

I almost always would prefer calling preflop and just out playing people post.

On the flop, there really is little value to raising. There are loads of sets and straights in their range and some may have Kx flush. It's a good spot to call and re-evaluate turn but we are t happy to pile in money here since our equity won't be that big.

Glad to see I did not screw up the first part of the hand. So I did call and and interesting card fell on the turn, giving me a second flush draw and a second pair

Turn: (40.4 BB, 3 players) A:diamond:
MP bets 38.8 BB, fold, Hero ?

EDIT: I should obviously have the odds for a second call.

Is there any reason to raise? What does villain have here? Made straight? Sets? Draws? Does he fold any part of his range if I repot?

Since we have the draws he's not drawing, also people don't do this with sets and I'd expect to see a naked J9 here a lot. Just have to call and see rivers
