Sorry for the bad title.. couldn't think of a way to sum up what I'm asking.

Obviously I'm not thrilled with this spot, but how bad is this really?

I'm looking for some genuine input here.. not just nitty silliness. What do you think I should have done differently? I mean you can't just give up every friggin' time you don't flop awesome... I showed strength the whole way...

Do I continue here... ? I'm pretty much committed. Any constructive thoughts are appreciated.

3-betting pre is marginal/baddish. Having a small/medium pair in your hand doesn't really help your playability postflop. In general, I'd advise playing super nitty from the SB, including flatting some AAxx hands and even folding really bad QQxx type hands. If you're going to 3-bet OOP with hands that aren't premium AAxx, there are better hands that can crush a lot of flops.

As played, we basically missed the flop but it's not the worst flop to bluff with blockers to some draws and some backdoors.

It's pretty much the nut turn card, so getting it in here is pretty standard, you're obviously committed so yeah fist-pump call turn shove.

Thoughtful, thank you.

At the time my thoughts were his raise looked like a steal. And in addition I usually give a 3-bet out of the SB credit for strength. Guess I shouldn't assume everybody thinks that way?

It was certainly possible that he was trying to induce a 3-bet with that raise, this of course makes his flat seem a little strange to me.

In PLO, almost no one folds to 3-bets, or even 4-bets sometimes. If it's a 4-handed pot, and someone 3-bets huge, you might get 1 person to fold, but generally you're going to see a flop.

Ironically, if people are pretty sure you have AAxx, they will usually always call (maybe not with some dominated Axxx hands) because they generally have odds to stack off if you're jamming all flops.

Indeed. Folding to 3bets in PLO is pretty awful unless villain's 3bet range is tight (AAxx only) and you have Axxx. That means you 3bet either for value or to prevent players after you to enter the hand, but you should always count on everyone in with money in the pot to call you.

This 3 bet pre is actually really bad. If you haven't already done so, check out Phil Galfond's seminar he did on YouTube. He goes over preflop hands and really gives you a good idea on what you should be playing from various positions. I hope you don't take this post personally, I am legitimately trying to help.
