$5 PLO 6-max: Flop a wrap+BDFD+block bottom pair OOP on A high board in 4Bet pot 350BB deep . . .

PokerStars - $0.05 PL Hi FAST (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 418.4 BB (VPIP: 23.86, PFR: 13.64, 3Bet Preflop: 3.45, hands: 91)
Hero (SB): 343.6 BB
BB: 224.8 BB (VPIP: 40.00, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 12)
UTG: 163.6 BB (VPIP: 16.67, PFR: 11.11, 3Bet Preflop: 10.00, Hands: 18)

CO: 122.2 BB (VPIP: 10.71, PFR: 4.76, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 90)

Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has K:heart: Q:club: 9:club: T:heart:

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 10 BB, fold, BTN raises to 31 BB, Hero calls 21 BB

Flop: (63 BB, 2 players) J:heart: 9:diamond: A:spade:
Hero checks, BTN bets 45 BB, Hero calls 45 BB

Turn: (153 BB, 2 players) 4:club:
Hero checks, BTN bets 147 BB, fold

I dunno if I should just GII OTF or flat, blocking bottom pair makes me more inclined to GII but I have no idea if flatting is better. If we turn more equity like FD then X/J yeah? If I get there OTT I probably lead - is this correct?

Ehh so much to think about. He could always be just repping the aces if he 4Bet with anything other than that and if we repop him OTF we don't have to worry about getting folded off of our equity on crappy turns.

Someone tell meh what iz bestz.

He has AAxx, pretty sure getting it in on the flop is just burning money.

I'm still baffled by the PF re-pop then calling the BIG 4-bet, but yeah, if u hit the turn you are probably good. You are really asking how you could have saved this hand and the answer is you couldn't without hitting a hand.
It sure looks like he had AAxx

If he has AAxx pre I still think he can call the 4-bet it can't be over pot so he's at least getting 2:1 and it's plo in a game where the other guy's going to make a ton more mistakes post than he is given how narrowed down his range is. Not sure whether it's a good 3-bet or not but it doesn't seem like it can be that bad.

Note I don't ever play plo.

Yeah, flatting the 4bet pre is fine given our hand and how deep we are. But I agree that villain always has top set here, I doubt he is just trying to rep the aces, not this deep at 5PLOzoom

I don't exactly have a strict 3Betting strategy as things get more complex in PLO. What I do know is that he is going to be opening pretty wide OTB so I'm well ahead of his range. He is also barely ever going to fold anything and because I have great high card connectivity + flush possibilities I'll be dominating a lot of his flatting range I would think.

So it's math right?

AJ94 you have KQT9 so that's 8TQK for the nuts so 13 outs? 10 gone so 42 cards left. So you're ~31% to hit the nuts and I'd say you're going to get paid a decent amount of the time if you hit right? So yeah I'd call turn given you only need like 33% to call. The only issue is you might chop some of the time you hit which may push it to slightly unprofitable. idk looks like it's super close either way can't really be a mistake. I think shoving's going to be by far the worst option though.

I think you played this hand very well .. There is no need to get it in on the flop because we are this deep stacked.

I would have played exactly the same .. !!:)
