Another hand analysis. I want to know wether calling pf was bad and if reraising on the flop is bad/or how much should I have raised.

calling is fine preflop seeing as we are very deep. 4 betting is also fine and would be my preference 3 handed.

The flops is perfectly standard, no other way to play it.

I'd 4-bet this most of the time.

pre is close, I'd 4-bet with a slightly better AA (double-suited or AAJT) or with 100 BBs.

Because A. we'll flop better with a better hand and B. villain is more likely to 5-bet with shallower stacks.

4-betting to C/F a ton of flops is really shitty.

How many flops do you think we check fold? I mean, most flops, even this deep, we can get in with reasonable equity and even then, we take down so many flops with a cbet.

Let's not be nits about it.

at a random guess, probably 40%+

and if we want to show down with 1 pair it's going to be a lot easier to do it if we don't bloat the pot. any decently aggressive player is going to put you in a ton of shitty spots when there's a lot of money behind.

how many flops are you getting in 200 BBs with?

If you check fold 40% of flops, you have no idea what you are doing. 40%. Seriously?

4 bet is to 1.7. If he calls a 4 bet. Pot is 3.4 with effective stack of 10.8. It is not that hard to get it in.

really, cool. I'd just c/f broadway flops that are two-tone, coordinated flops like 876, monotone flops, etc. I mean I really don't know what to say if you think it's good to play a 400-BB pot with 1 pair no redraw OOP but I'll take your word for it.

The odds of flopping a set, a flush draw or combo draw or flush or straight are less than 30% so I'd like to know how you're playing these other boards.

Also, in general it's really bad to play OOP when you have exactly what they think you have.

Stop focusing on the pot size, focus on the SPR. We're not giving away implied odds in a four-bet pot, with an SPR of three.

I don't know how this conversation started with

calling is fine preflop seeing as we are very deep.

to now we're stacking off on most flops when we get it in with like 30% equity. I thought I was the loosest PLO play ever but I feel better about it now.
