Hey I have a few questions from this hand.

Hero (BTN): $9.87
SB: $6.90
BB: $2.60 (67/13. Donk lead flop 88)
UTG: $5.00
MP: $7.80
CO: $4.64

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is BTN with 7c 6s 8h 7d
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.15, 1 fold, BB calls $0.10

Flop: ($0.32) 4c 6h 2c (2 players)
BB bets $0.10, Hero calls $0.10
As Villains Donk bet % is 88 should I be raising this? If so, should I only be raising if I flopped a piece, or just any 4 cards?

Turn: ($0.52) 5h (2 players)
BB bets $0.35, Hero calls $0.35
I know I should have raised here to get value from flush draws

River: ($1.22) Kd (2 players)
BB bets $0.30, Hero raises to $2.07, BB folds
For the hand I put villain on this is too high, would you min raise here, or go for around $1?

Thanks for the help

As played is fine but the bet sizing on the river was too big and unnecessary. I would have just raised the minimum for value. :)

So its fine that I checked the turn? Or should I vary my turn play in these situations? I know balancing doesnt come into play much in these low stakes, but I wouldnt mind practicing it for when I move up.

Thanks for the feedback

You did not check the turn right ?? If villain checks you can bet on the turn but in this case you called villain's bet and not raising there is fine by me. However in some situations and against certain players you can raise the turn.

Here you were just slow playing your hand on the turn which is why you got villain to bet on the river too with a weaker hand or bluff. So it was ok. :)

yes - turn bet is fine - there is some danger that he is on 2 pairs and if the full house is possible he will still call a small raise and look to take it down.

This way he will not be sure what you have but your river bet was only ever ging to get him to fold unless he could split the pot
