Hand Replay Above

See the picture above for the hand. I am UTG +1 with AK os.

An thoughts on the correct play? I had been at the table for about 60 hands and began with $6.25 in chips. Villian had joined within the last fifteen hands (been there for about one rotation and had been involved in four pots previously, winning one worth $1.88 with J 8 sooooooted vs. a calling station ona flush draw; I had labeled him as LAG.

4 bet preflop.

Why did you only bet .50 on the turn?

Do you have Pokertracker? If so what are villain's stats? I think with AK this 4bet/ fold depending on villain's stats but flat call leaves you without any information. Furthermore you called his bet on the flop which again leaves you without any way of knowing where you stand here. You may up against Aces here or a set of sixes or two small hearts that missed a draw on the river. Nevertheless you are priced to call the river bet so I guess call one more time and hope he missed his draw.

I think he meant 4 bet or fold but ya, you cant 4 bet and fold this hand.

If you know they'll absolutely only 3 bet QQ+ then you can just fold pre. Thats not this guy obvs so 4 bet this hand.

MAN I wish I had bet more than .50 cents now. Good advice!

The low raise was intended to indicate strength. By raising 20% of the pot, I was trying to say: I have a strong hand and I want you to call. I think that villian interpreted as: I have a medicre hand so here is a raise to try to scare you out of the pot. If he 3-bet with that in mind, than it was well-played on his part. However, if he really did have a set or a straight or even 2 pair (he had a wide range); than folding was correct.

Next time I will play TPTK with more balls.
