I don't think there is anything you could do here besides folding preflop. I don't like that we are out of position here, but T8s is a decent hand to see a flop with. With 2 pair on the turn we pretty much have to call the minimum raise because we are getting 4 to 1 pot odds. The 6c on the river doesn't really change things much. There are a few straights out there that are definitely in the villain's range. Calling the river is 50/50. I think the decision is more about what you think or know about the villain. loose/aggressive/tight/passive, etc.
Good Luck

I'm folding pre, and I'm also folding the river. I'm seriously struggling to see what you are beating.

Because this is 5NL we can pretty much remove most of the likelihood that he raised turn with air. And that means the river will be purely for value, because the weaker part of villains range will check back. I really don't see myself paying him off here

I cant't check the turn, I have a strong but vulnerable hand, and my opponents didn't show any strength, so I think that betting the turn is a must

Agree above. Auto fold and just proceed to the next.

Not a good situation to defend our blinds.

Fold pre-flop, but what are you beating on the turn? I think that's the value fold you want to learn to make.

It looks like your showdown was against a certainly tight player who got a shot of luck at the turn. In my opinion there are hands that are well played but it always needs a bit of luck on this.

The only different thing you could have done was to play more agressively, but i think its not very clever to do with tha cards you were playing and the position you were having.

I think you played it well. Theres no thing you could have done.

Playing 8Ts in the blind s is affinity pre definitely -EV . Flat these hands in POS (Co ,BU). Not in the blinds though man. Unless your blind v blind in the BB

Basically: Don't play these hands OOP

This is it in a nutshell
Villains never raise the turn as a bluff because most players at 5NL can't lay down a medium strength hand. (including you, and probably me!)...note you have bottom two pair as well.
the T fills lots of straight draws including AQ of which there is a ton here and gives loads of dominating 2pair combos
