Total pot: $2.17 | Rake: $0.10

This monkey is 13 / 3 / 1.1% 3bet over 2.6k hands.
AF 3.5, 24%.

No reads except that he raises and then open shoves a wet flop with KK (directly into a waiting set). Brain surgeon he ain't.

1. What the ****? This smells like a bluff but I just can't call. With nuts (set of Jacks?) he should wait and raise, no?

Villain should be re-raising any turn for value. This shove smells super bluffy, unless he got there with K2 or something. He's never waiting to c/r though because 99% when he flats your turn raise -> you check back river.

That stupid mini donk bet on the turn changes exactly zilch in my approach, I am still value betting that.

BTW mini donk bets are usually 2nd or 3rd pair or something weak like that, definitely behind my TPGK. Even if I had total air I would still call it for info.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a set of deuces if I called or some other random garbage.

raise to $0.90 on turn, fold on river, 77/22/44/JJ are all in his range

fold pre flop! i dont play full ring but i know you can be a good winning player if you just tighten your Preflop range at FR, KQo in middle position with a limper is a fold.

Preflop is fine, folding river like 100% of the time without better reads

Preflop is fine. Fold the river. This guy won't have that many flush draws, appears passive can hold KJ as well as sets and has laid us very bad odds.

Don't see any way he has any of the hands that you guys think he has.

Don't think you see any overbet shove bluffs from a 13/3. This is almost always a set. Good fold. Well played.

Agree with VW. Over bets are almost always the nuts esp when they come from 13/3s..

KQo is a super strong hand in MP. Folding pre is never crossing my mind here. Raising to like. .75 OTT though

I thought I can get some more value on the river from a weaker one pair hand, presumably Jacks (unless flush arrives, then I would probably check back or call a small bet).

I wouldn't check back river, is that a mistake?

Nits can bluff sometimes. He has more missed draws than sets after the turn action, and I don't think he min-donks the turn and then just calls the raise with sets. If he min-donks a set on the turn it's to induce. Once he's induced, he would 3bet...

How hard would it be to put him on K J or set of sevens?

We have god-****ing-awful odds and a station never bets worse, let alone this strongly. Easy fold.

I think that line corresponds to: 42s, 22, K2, possibly J2 (stations are usually capable of having any ragged face card, and I suspect that's probably the bulk of their range usually -- they're not just seeing any two otherwise their VPIP would be like 80-100%).

I think you played the hand fine, however on the river it's just an easy fold.

Worse hand villain takes this line with is 2 pair(given stats; unlikely to even over play 2 pair like this), he isn't doing this with some random worse king and there's no draws out there that he x/c's 2 streets with and bluffs rivers with. The boards just way to dry for anything other than a value shove, although it's a bad value shove I think he likely has some set he's decided to go crazy with on the river and hope you call with exactly the hand you have.

I have a small database but I'm gonna go hunting now, cause I agree it feels weird.

He could have drilled 22 otr. We can't apply "it's a cooler" logic here because he has worse roughly 0% of the time.

no one is saying to call because he is shoving KT. I just don't see how he can possibly have a hand. He has precisely 0 value hands he'd play this way IMO.
