I don't think he would check raise you if he was waiting for the FD. I made the same mistake myself the other day and called the check raise, which I will now learn from.

These guys even though they play every hand normally only check raise with the nuts, yep its frustrating that he is running this hot but just bide your time and when you have the nuts turn the table on him :)

Are you saying that he is raising 25% of turns? I really doubt that's the case.

Maybe the player has tilted you into believing that he raises so often that every raise is a bluff. I did that a lot (and still do it fairly often). Just by looking at the numbers, the check-raise looks bluffy. However, it can be unprofitable to just draw conclusion from numbers and perhaps emotion. With the read you have, it's a call, but is your read accurate? Have you considered:

Where and how your opponent raised (check-raise, in position raise, on flop, on turn)?
The amount he raises (min raise, or shoves)?
Any showdowns?

Thats is why I added his stats.
3 betting 22% in full ring! calling every preflop raise..
OPP he just kept firing flop cbet 85% and turn c bet 100% and then gave up on the river if he was called on the turn.
In Pos if you look at the very right hand column he raised 11% of flop c bets and 25% of turn c bets.
I had the dubious benefit of seeing his actions in the A9, 97 and 33 hands.
In the end I suppose its just a cooler. I'm never going to give him the credit for having the flopped made flush, if I had lost to a set or two pair well that is his reward for the loose style of play...you can never put them on a hand. He turned $6 into $30 in about 30 mins...
I have lost 4 or 5 hands all in like this, getting it in too light against maniacs, clearly something i need to look at.

potting on a monotone board here is just a bad plan

You flopped TPTK with no draws on a monotone board, plus against an opponent playing a wide range, you can't completely rule out his holding funky 2 pairs, never mind a set. Your hand isn't strong enough to call this a cooler.

And why can't he have flopped the flush? Quite a few maniacs love to play suited hands. You seem okay with the possibility he flopped two pair. One holding for this is J6. Why can't this person have a similarly ragged hand with two spades?

Too answer your general question: play tight and value bet to heaven. Even knowing how wide his ranges are, you still have to respect big raises later in the hand. This is a fold on the turn and wait for a better spot.
