This is a discussion on $5 NLHE Full Ring: $ : Turn understraight, stack off? within the online poker forums, in the Cash Game Hand Analysis section; What do you think about stacking off here? The pot is small and there are two higher straights, but I figured there were a lot
MP+1 bets $0.45, Hero raises to $1.82, MP+1 raises to $9.22 (All-in), Hero calls $3.25 (All-in)
River: ($14.76) (2 players)
Final Pot: $14.76

It's hard to put villain on a range as it was a limped pot. Comes down to whether you know enough about villain to believe his range to 3-bet shove with a hand you can beat.

If he's stacking off 2 pair+ you have to call. He probably will shove 2 pairs/sets and you're only scared of 2 hands.

re: Poker & $5 NLHE Full Ring: $ : Turn understraight, stack off?
With a flush draw backing you up, just stack off. Hate to miss a fun oppourtunity like this to lose some cash. You would win more money then you would lose I think.

I'd raise pre from BTN to give you the initiative (unless MP+1 has a tendancy of trapping pre) and then raise the inevitable donk bet with such a strong draw. Re-evaluate if he re-raises flop or bets turn strongly etc etc
This a bad move?
AhQh is probably the worst hand he could have held tbh.
