What to do in this situation? I guessed I was either up agaist a jack in which case I was in trouble or a flush draw in which case I'm pretty good...either way should I have played this differently on the flop and is this an easy call on the turn?

3bet or fold preflop. His stack isn't big enough to set mine profitably and you're rarely going to get a flop without at least 1 over. Also he's an 15/8 who raised UTG why don't you include overpairs in his range?

OK, I see. I never saw folding as an option (even though I know it should be with his stack size) though did think about the 3bet, if he shoves pre we have to call though right?

Sorry, yes I did include overpairs in his range as well.

Yeah, if we 3bet preflop, we can't fold to a shove. But if we think his range crushed us preflop then we should just be folding TT. Honestly it's probably really close preflop between 3bet/call and folding (the EV of folding is always 0 so yeah I'd say we're flipping with his range).

It's a spot where 3bet/calling is probably actually slightly -EV against his range BUT it may make you a few $$ later if someone else notices you stacking TT pre but doesn't really think about the stack sizes involved. Say you get it in with TT pre here, it's possible others at the table just think you're loose enough to get all in with TT, when actually it's that you're loose enough to get it in pre against a 35bb stack. Big difference but one a 12 tabling reg may miss and a larger stacked fish may not understand.

If we we're gonna 3bet/call then is there an argument for just shoving ourselves as the 3bet and put the pressure on him to call, it may seem like a stronger move on our part and increase our F/E?

No need to increase FE here. You either think you're way ahead of his range and want a call or you think you're behind and you have to fold.

No. If we do this there is very little chance that he calls with hands we dominate (smaller pairs) but some shorties will shove over a 3bet with those hands. We want to keep his range as wide as possible if we're 3betting here because we need all those lesser hands to stay in.
