I probably just call seeing as how he could be doing this with 77-99, 55, air or pair+ draw hands

Yeah call, b/f any card if he checks turn, keep calling if no obvious scare card gets there

Call? And do what when an overcard falls on the turn or river? I must be missing something.

We have the best hand here the vast majority of the time. Jam and deny him odds on the flush draw, 55, etc. He's playing $5 nlhe, so he's probably bad enough to call with 77-99 as well.

well, I guess if we think that he'll call with 77-99 and 55 we can probably jam but I just thought that he'd probably fold those to a 3bet

IME, your standard $5 NLHE player will call here all the way down to A6 and draws. They snap call with any overpair.
