How should i have played this hand? Guy was 84/43, he seems aggressive, he's bluffed on the turn and river a lot before when checked to, or when the flop checks through. his flop aggression seems to be less - 46% but only 30 hands. I have been given advice in the past to stack off with an overpair most of the time on the flop except when facing a very passive/nitty player. Do you think it is reasonable to follow that advice here?

How many hands did you have on this nutball? Is he a confirmed nut? (edit sorry just seen the 30, doesn't change anything )
It's ok getting it in against these stats preflop HU. Here with a third playing the hand you could call or raise pre.
Personally I might have squeezed here with 10s. We have a nutball raise and the late position player doesn't isolate? Id infer he was pretty weak calling with something speculative and he should go away to a raise most of the time. Then we are HU with the villain.
This is a good flop for your 10s but your hand is vulnerable to overs hitting the villain if you do gii . Its a bit of a gamble to be honest and Id expect to get beat fairly often here by AQ AJ with a spade maybe an overpair especially as he has shown more aggression than his stats indicated.

You are not the open raiser, so you have no idea how strong the villain's hand is. You may be probably dominated or even drawing dead here.

Irregardless of result, I just thought your play is good.

On the flop, I believe we are ahead and he is still on a draw.

Yes but look at the stats this opening raiser is open raising 43% of his hands that is a range largly crushed by TT. admittedly we have to narrow that after the flop raise but who knows what he has.

Some people will enter the pot with a wide range of holdings but won't bluff off their stack very often. What hands do you think he would play this way? You could use a program like Pokerstove to see if you are favored vs his hand range.

An alternate line would have been to call the flop raise and move in on a non-spade or overcard on the turn. But that's risky here because there are a lot of bad cards for your hand. Still, it can be a good line if you think he would play something like As9h this way.

Do not lead out into this board against two opponents. There is no need to do that here - just check call flop and evaluate on later streets.

If you decide to lead out and then get raised then be disciplined enough to fold the hand right there. Not a good idea continuing with the hand any further. ;)

I recently read somewhere that raises on monotone boards are almost always flushes regardless of player type. I guess i'll follow that advice from now on, cheers for the replies :)
