Set of tens, not trips. Straight and flush got there, I'd bet/fold. probably around 50% pot

4x pf, near pot the flop, near pot the turn, smaller on the river. We want to keep in the random shitty single pairs and 2nd pair hands. I bet like 1/2 pot.

Wouldn't risk a full pot bet on the river and lose bitterly to a calling fundamentalist who held on to his Ax or hearts.

PS: if you post the thread without your last bet you might get more debate. - with a title asking how much should I bet.

Bigger preflop and on the flop. I'd also bet smaller on the river (~$1.20).

I disagree. I think there is still value in betting the river as long as we bet small enough to be called by his TP/2pair hands.

More of a value bet on the river required then as most people wouldn't call a pot bet unless they had me beat.

More pre, definitely.

Everything is fine up until the river. Check and fold to any decent sized bet depending on the player type. Definitely do not bet. You are turning a hand with decent showdown value into a bluff. And especially with a pot sized bet, you are never getting called by worse.

um, c/f river?

I actually agree with baudib for once haha. As I read through the comments here I really don't see how anyone is advocating betting the river here. It makes zero sense.

That is because there are 2 huge draws there. Any 2 hearts , Ace or nine beats us. What intrigues me seing the actual river play is why the villain just calls and did not shoved? What did the villain actually had? 2 pairs? KJ?

He had KQos so I don't think he played it too badly. Probably thinks he has me beaten given I'm raising from the SB so my range is very wide.

Calls cbet. Gets a 'nice' card on turn and calls. Probably should fold my pot bet on River (that I shouldn't have made given the risks out there)

I like bet/fold about $1.22. Better hands will raise (flush, straight), worse hands will call (two pair KJ,KQ,KT,QT). Whats not to like?

Think its clear of a sort of blocker bet of $1.20 on river.

Exactly what jbbb says here ^^

Good betting the whole way otherwise.
