Not been on the table for a particularly long time but MP shows a lot of signs of being a fish,

888 Poker - $0.06 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4: http://www.pokertracker.com

Hero (MP+1): $6.03
CO: $3.00

BB: $5.94 VPIP 26, PR 7, 167 hands
UTG: $2.60
UTG+1: $8.55
UTG+2: $0.63
MP: $4.47 VPIP 33, PR 14, 88 hands

SB posts SB $0.03, BB posts BB $0.06

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.09) Hero has As Qc

fold, fold, fold, MP raises to $0.12, Hero calls $0.12, fold, fold, fold, BB calls $0.06

Flop: ($0.39, 3 players) Qd 3s 4h
BB checks, MP bets $0.29, Hero calls $0.29, BB calls $0.29

Turn: ($1.26, 3 players) 6d
BB checks, MP bets $0.62, Hero calls $0.62, BB calls $0.62

River: ($3.12, 3 players) 8s
BB checks, MP checks,

Hero?

The things i'm not sure in this hand are whether to 3 bet pre and whether or not to value bet the river. I'm thinking on the river BB could have 2 pair or maybe some kind of set which he has decided to slow play, it seems pretty unlikely that either has a straight. also Should I raise flop or turn? thanks

3 bet pre wouldn't be wrong. Flatting is fine. But, there is no good reason at all you should be flatting ANY street after that flop. Raise/Raise/Jam.

As played you should still v-bet the river but if you get 3bet you're probably beat but you still have to call. Which is why we should have took the lead from the get go.

Disagree 100%

I like the flat PF. I like the flat call OTF. I like even more that the other guy calls behind. Idc how bad villains are, if you raise they can only call decent queens. Everything else stacks you. as played you get more value from worse queens and probably even wider since your hand is so underrepped, allowing you to vbet the river and get paid off pretty wide

Turn it's pretty marginal, but I like a small raise because these guys both look like huge fish so I think Qx calls. River gets harder then though.

As played I'm Vbet/folding 100% of the time on the river on that board. BB always gunna jam a set here so EZ fold if he does, but that's pretty much all you have to worry about. Don't think villain usually ever has 2p here even with stats like that. q8 is like the only possible. 2p combo for either player. So ye I bet like 1.25 and lol as QT snaps me off

well OP:

Choop has essentially been a coach and great help to me so I would definitely just go with what he said.

Why we are slowplaying (or undervaluing..however you see it) TPTK at microstakes is well beyond my comprehension. I mean you said it yourself, were only worried about a set. I guess I've just been set on v-bet til my mouse breaks at microstakes.

edit: Im not saying I 3bet the flop strong and get folds just that I'm not going to disguise the strength of my hand just so I can v-bet the river. A light rr otf at these stakes can still get action from Qx, 9s, 10s, Js, heck even gutshot sd's. Just saying I'm getting more value out of this hand.

Yeah ovitoo you'll still get action if you raise the flop (ie they'll call your flop raise) but the problem is they will then prob check fold on the turn unimproved and that's not what we want.

So ye raising doesnt lose us value on the flop- just on later streets. As for sweating ovitoo, add me on Skype- jchoop1

EDIT: also soz for being a noob but what is this "hmu" you speak of? Lol

I would 3bet pre for value. As played, value bet the river for sure. You are always good here.
