Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 20/15/2

I'm in the SB and the BTN attempts to steal. I defend, he calls, I have TPGK w/ an OESD on a flushy board. I bet and get raised. I don't have a lot of hands on the villain, but I've seen him attempt to steal a good deal (particularly from me!) and otherwise is pretty straightforward (20/15/2.0). I don't think I fold here, but do I call or shove?

Get it in, we have almost half of effective stacks in after our c bet. His raise must of left him with about $1 behind? He shouldn't be folding and we are never folding so get it in now...

I don't like 3betting KQs preflop. I flat it against a BTN open all day though (especially considering his stack size).

As played,
shove.

So basically (most of) you guys think that since I suspect his range to be pretty wide (because he's been stealing a lot), and since KQs is a very strong hand, I actually don't want him to fold because I'd like to see a flop if he's holding a marginal hand I have dominated. Is that correct?

Exactly. If we expect him to fold all the time we should be 3 betting with junk and calling with our good hands as we want to get more value from them than just his initial raise...

However if we expect him to call all the time we should be 3 betting our good hands so we can build an even bigger pot, and just throw our crap hands away.

Most people fall somewhere in between but once you get 1000+ hands on them you should have a fairly accurate idea of how often they are folding to 3 bets...
