$5 NL HE Full Ring: Think I played this one well and made a good fold?

Hello again People! Just a few hands whittle dowm from a great many troublesome spots from the last 2000 or so played. I tried to include HUD stats but PTS was not cooporating! If you assume the average for the levels I play of about 21/9 with a steal% of 19 unless I indicate otherwise we shouldnt be far off the mark!

OK, lets get to it!

pokerstars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($4.18)
UTG ($3.30)
Hero (UTG+1) ($4.07)
MP1 ($12.18)
MP2 ($9.70)
MP3 ($13.98)
CO ($1.48)
Button ($3.79)
SB ($5)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with J

1 fold, Hero bets $0.20, 1 fold, MP2 calls $0.20, 5 folds

Flop: ($0.47) 6

, J

, 10

(2 players)
Hero bets $0.25, MP2 calls $0.25

Standard raise and C-bet here. Perhaps my flop bet could have been stronger but I dont thik its criminal.

Turn: ($0.97) A

(2 players)
Hero bets $0.65, MP2 raises to $1.30, Hero folds

This card completes a flush draw but I fire off a standard turn C-bet anyway. Seems correct to protect my hand and bet for info?

Well theres my info! Should I have shoved or called to draw for the queen? I think not.

Total pot: $2.27 | Rake: $0.11

Results below:
MP2 didn't show
Outcome: MP2 won $2.16

I don't really like opening KJs UTG+1. I think that was the real mistake in the hand.

REALLY? that surprizes me. I guess you feel it was a loose play but I always regarded KJs as a semi-premium holding.

Perhaps you feel it is not much better than KJo which I wold ike to say I'd hardly EVER open in EP and is saved for late position with few limpers.

This cold be an interesting leak in my game.

I mean it depends on the table but in general at a 5nl table I think you need to tighten your EP range because you do have so many caller and hands like KJ can be tough to play OOP. That said I'd open KQs there so it's close.

What are your positional VPIP/PFR stats (assuming you have ~50k hands).

80k hands 14.4/13.5 with steal of about 31. I get your point but it confuses me when players who are obviously far better than I dont differentiate between KJo and KJs. I would almost never even play AJo in EP unless the table was short but AJs...

Frank you should try playing 6-max that way you can play more hands like this from any position. I think you played this hand well though considering you didnt fold pre

Button to UTG:
20.7/19.5
18.8/18.1
13.5/12.9
12.4/11.9
11.5/11.3
10.3/9.8
7.8/7.4
Blinds:
14/12.7
14.9/12.9

Your maybe a little loose from the 1st 2 positions but def not out of line. You should be opening up more from the BTN though. Position is the shit.

Apart from opening this UTG which I would not do, you played this hand ok. Flop sizing needs to be bigger. Betting the turn is ok, just don't do it for info, do it because he can still call with some draws and weaker Jx. Once he raises it's a trivial fold.
