After squeezing with my AK in position I get 4 bet by the fishy BB. I'd have no problem getting it in with him if it were not for the all in 5 bet by shortstacked tight UTG+1...Is this a fold with BB still to act behind us?

full tilt poker $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em - 8 players - View hand 1169583
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter
UTG: $9.27
UTG+1: $2.47 (11/9)
MP1: $4.61
MP2: $5.00 (14/9)
Hero (CO): $5.00
BTN: $1.68
SB: $2.28
BB: $6.15 (38/15)
Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is CO with A K
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to $0.20, 1 fold, MP2 calls $0.20, Hero raises to $0.80, 2 folds, BB raises to $1.40, UTG+1 raises to $2.47 all in, 1 fold Hero?

if you think you're ahead of BB i say go ahead and get it in. UTG has a short stack so usually Im always getting it in with AK against them

I agree about getting it in with the UTG short stacker generally but after he 5 bets all in is our AK ever any good? And what's our move? Shove in as well to try and get heads up?

If we really want to play the pot with the BB, why would we shove all in to get HU with the shorty??? Honestly I probably call and hope the BB shoves over? Weird spot.

True. We want to be playing with the BB only so once UTG+1 gets involved in such a strong way if we're gonna play we may as well at least get it all in now hadn't we? Maybe not, maybe we want the BB to shove over so we can be a favourite in the side pot? Ahhh, weird spot indeed.

Yeah we'd love to get it in preflop obviously IF the BB is still in the hand but if we shove how light do you think the BB is calling? If you think he'll always call the shove after he 4bets, then by all means shove away.

Personally I think a 38/15 loves to gamble and will probably get blinded by the pot size and get it in with all manner of trash...I think if we just call the raise and BB doesn't shove over and just calls we have a tricky spot post-flop if we miss, no?

It's not a tricky spot if we just never fold. If he shoves we call. If he checks we shove. We just usually don't have the equity we would if we get it in preflop. But to be clear, if I just call preflop and so does the BB, I'm NEVER folding post.
