River: ($15.21) 8

(3 players, 3 all-in)

Total pot: $15.21 | Rake: $0.76

UTG is 41 / 29 from 15 hands

MP2 is a retard who is permanently stuck in God mode. Coolered me at least 10 times via various random crap (gutshots being his specialty).

Stats: 19 / 15 / 8.2% 3bet (9.2 against me)

Notes:
- Has a HUD
- 4 bets with A5o with 100bb stack (despite me being tight and knowing he opens super wide in LP). *** Naturally coolered me with that.
- Cold 3bet shove.
- 3bets and calls a shove with JJ.
- 3bets from BB against UTG raise with T8o.
- Preflop player, easy to outplay post flop. Very easy to float.
- Calls 2 barrels with MPGK.
- 60% pot bet *2 = a weak pair.

So, on the flop I am either way ahead or way behind. I have been coolered countless times by MP2 so I know he will call flop raise 100% of the time with ATC unless I shove, if I do he will fold.

1. Line check?

Results below:
UTG had A

, A

(one pair, Aces).
Hero had 4

, 4
spade.gif
(three of a kind, fours).
MP2 had A

, Q

(straight, Ace high).
Outcome: Hero won $0.13, MP2 won $14.32

On the flop you're NOT WA or WB... you're WAY AHEAD! Stop letting previous hands cloud your judgement. You crush his range.

You can probably just get it in on the flop but if you think he might be able to find a fold, calling the flop and getting it in on the turn is fine.

Just looked at the results. Stop posting Bad Beats in the HA section.

This is not a BB post but a HA post.

Obviously I am facing 2 possible gutshots here and in worst case scenario there are 6 possible outs (AK vs AQ) and obviously if someone has a better set I am way behind (but that is not as issue and merits little consideration).

So the question is whether isolating one guy is better (cutting down from 6 possible gutshot outs to 4 possible outs) or should I go for the whole thing?

There is nothing the analyze here tbh. Just do whatever you have to do to get both players money.

These moments where you flop a set and ppl are reraising... It's moments like these that don't come around enough. ALWAYS GII on the flop with this amount of action. Who cares if your beat, it happens move on because the next few times you'll make it back with the same play.

Well I wanted to take it all and was aware I am risking 2-4 more outs against me if I am ahead if I just flat :D just wondered if it was OK or not.

So basically flatting is better here since most of the time all the money goes in on the turn.

P.S. I forgot overpair outs, but still things don't change that much, do they?

I'd just get it in on flop, you can rep a lot of worse hands by jamming.

First. Collers happened in previous hands do not matter. What matter is how you played your hand. As you played you put all the money in the middle and that is a good thing. As played i have only one advice. Never slowplay sets at this lvls. If they want to dance they will dance especially on that kind of board. They have something or not. And they will probabely call with weak draws, over pp, 2 pairs etc. When the pot is big they start drooling and do not think streight.

very very very bad call on the flop, raise man so u can push out all draws and keep top pair 2pairs hands. the turn is a pretty bad card for u, 3way it looks like u r behind but still a must call.

a saw the result, with a push on the flop u could fold the AQ and isolate the AA.
