I'd just check/fold. When we bet this river, we're doing it as a bluff, not for value. If we bet like 2/3 pot on the river, we need like 40%ish folds to turn a profit, which we can likely do on this nasty board. Sure, we might get a worse over pair to call a river bet once in a while, but its mostly a bluff. The folds are what makes the bet profitable.
However, our hand has a lot of showdown value, and villain will check behind with two pair or a set a lot here, but they will call our river bet. So I think its pretty close. If we had a junkier hand (A2 of clubs or something) then obviously a bet is better, but we can check down our overpair and win a lot of showdowns.
I think check/calling is absolutely terrible, as players at this level are typically way too passive to bluff a board like this.
