Are my bet sizings okay? Given villain's maniac stats, should I be calling or folding the river?

Cheers.

Given his maniac stats, it's probably neutral +EV whether you call or fold here. He could literally have almost ATC here, and we can't really put a range on him. But generally, call call donk shove are pretty nutted lines. And maniacs do make hands, and they do get paid off when they do because of their image. Hard to say that he'd float two barrels OOP in a 3-bet pot, hoping for a scare card on the river just to bluff you off your overpair. He's not doing this with something that has SDV. He either has complete air, or he has it. I'd probably fold.

I agree. If he was going to bluff or shove with an overpair then he'd be much more likely to do it on the flop or turn.

Do you think the bet sizings are okay, or can I bet more versus this type of player?

Your bet sizing should be bigger against these kind of opponents and bigger in general on these limits. Pre flop 50- 65 cents. Flop is ideal for QQ. You should bet around 3/4 of the pot. If he decided to stay with you on the flop he will probablly stay when the 5 of diamonds hits cause it doesnt change much so bet again and bet big for value.
The turn play is crucial here. You have to make a plan here. I think of it this way when these situations pop up:
Do i wanna bet here and get the money on the river against this perticular opponent no mather what the river card is ? If i do i should make my bet bigger on the turn so that i could price out all the draws, i will get a good price to call on the river if he shoves and i wont have any fold equity and i might even win the hand here.
Or if i think i am beat i might check here for pot control and call on the river so i dont lose all my stack and i might enduce a bluff from this kind of opponent, or he might check again and i could bet once more for value.
The river card is probably the worst card you could get and if any other card came given that you bet the turn i would get my money in. The 4 of spades completes straights, flushes, some 2 pair combinations and i think folding is ok here.

Villain is a drooler. Just 3-bet big, pot the flop, and shove it in easy on the turn.

As played, snap off the river.

Bet flop much larger, if he has a hand to call with, he is going to call regardless of sizing. Also bomb turn, maybe even overbet ship it because he is not folding 77-jj.

As played though, I think you can fold river because he doesn't do this with much that you beat unless he lost his mind with an overpair you beat.

77, 87s, 33, 44, 55, 66, 22 are all crushing us on this river and he needs to be spazzing out here with a hand like pocket 9's in order to show profit on a river call. With that said, he might be, so calling can't be too bad, especially for the price we are getting(~27%).

So I played it too passively, and made the hand a bit more difficult than it should have been. Makes sense. If I bet more on the first two streets, I don't have a close decision to make on the river, and I'm getting it in good against his range the majority of the time.

Thanks for the replies.

On the flop, raise close to the pot,as played I would probably fold because the villain already all-in.

Have to bet more on the turn for him to have a decision to continue or not.

As played, have to call. Our hand is live and pot odds warrant it.
