I thought I want to try a bit of 5NL. Way over my bankroll of course but the players seem a little on the careful side than 2NL. But again flopped bad against a bad player.

Any input? Just a call on the river? As soon as the flop came I knew I were beat. But a scare board. So thought of a possible bluff

3 way with 2 short stacks I see many rag aces in their limping range. odds are that someone has an ace and it's not you, so I don't even cbet this. Might call once, if I don't improve, that's it. Calling to bluff catch is a -ev play imo and I never bet this thinking I have the best hand often enough, so no raising.

+1 What KFlint says.

My line would have been No CB and then fold. I guess CB and then giving up is okeish too.

On the river turning you hand to bluff was a brave move indeed, but he will not fold A, he will not fold K. So your bluff was for nothing, No better hand will fold.

Main boundaries on the hand imo 1. Multiway 2. 3rdP 3. Scary flop 4. General tendencies that calling mistakes are the main mistakes in every level in poker, in 5NL even more so.
