Is this shove ok? I figured going for max value was right in this spot, a lot of straights/worse flushes that I can stack, opinions?

I bet the river. Any flush will likely raise us anyway as long as we don't bet too much and I wouldn't want straights checking back.

The shove depends on the player. Without reads I'd go lower for value but like I've said in other threads, people give too much respect at the micros so I think it's close. He does have a FD line and I think straights fold to any sizeable raise so I think the shove could be the best line once we have checked.

Don't post his call, then we obv know the shove was a success. The final action we should read should be the one before your last turn. So ending with the Heros final move. It just means you get more honest feedback, rather than results orientated feedback.

Looking back I think I definitely should of lead river, a lot of his made hands are going to re-raise. Villain was 13/9 over 200 so I assumed he'd be considerably strong.

Shoving is definitely fine here, as fishes of this level can always hard to fold their flushs.

I think I bet the river like $1.20 to $1.50 and 3bet shove if villain raises us. I don't want straights, etc. checking back on the river. As played I think I check/raise less for value ($3 or $4 maybe). I think a 13/9 can fold a lot of the hands we want to call when we shove the river.

I'd like to know how others feel about leading or check/raising the turn and trying to take the pot without making our hand?

lead out river. Flushes will raise anyways and we dont' want to let worse straights just check back out of fear of flushes. looks fine other than that.
