I don't use HUD the villain is a regular multi-tabling guy. His range is wide and I stacked him on the other table with straight on the flop by re-raising on the turn. He just got an mid pair on that hand. He can deal with aggression and I have put him on a wide range on this one.Off course this is an easy call. Just want to know your thoughts.

He could have flatted with AK, KQ, 88 is also a possibility. Unless he's a trapper, flatting with AA or KK preflop, then seeing the two hearts decides he can't slowplay anymore and risk everyone checking behind. With only you having to close the action, he might feel comfortable enough to play the pot with the guarantee of it being 3-way and only a small risk of being outflopped.

He could have AhQh, willing to gamble with what he thinks is decent equity, given you saw him stack off light on the other table. But would he have donked the flop though, hoping seitafang had QQ/JJ/1010 and wanting to take it down right there? Most players would usually check to the preflop raiser.

You're losing only to KK if he slowplayed them preflop and 88, he can't have QQ, and you're beating AK, KQ, and AA (again, if he slowplays them preflop), and AhQh if he would just donk out instead check-calling.

you stacked him and he had a mid pair and he is a regular? Something does not sound right.

I just want to give that history that he can be aggressive with mid pair. Got a few hands with this guy and he seems tighter than i thought with well timed bluff. maybe that was the time that I stacked him.

Of course this is a call. We can never fold a set here as there are no draws on board. I assume this hand is a brag as opposed to asking any advice ... nice hand. :p

I dont think you played this hand right

In long term, limping from UTG is not a good play.

Than that you called the raise pre is ofc good, you got 100bb and you call 4bb with the chanse of getting a set 10% of the time. so you will need to get

100bb/2.5 = 40bb

assuming you never win if you dont hit your set. And you are up against 2 opponents so I think that is likely.

OTF you could have raised, A could slow him down with somthing like TT or KQ, an h could slow down many of hes hands and a Q could slow down some TT and A8 that would have called a small raise OTF. But at the same time if hes bluffing (witch I dont think he is) you will keep all his bluffs in hes range.

OTT: After he bets that he will 80% of the time be willing to play for stacks. And ofc with that hand you are too! :)

raise flop after donk bet, you want the lead here with a small set + flush draw on board.

the board worked out for you this time but if a heart came on turn, then you would've been kicking yourself.

also youre UTG, so easy raise preflop. since its full ring id be a little careful for those who 3-bet you here.

Villain is 88 on this and Cactus Cat is right on the range and I would thank Mr Kommpa and Cinnanym for their inputs/advices . I posted this and see if you can sense the higher set on this one which I am not aware. Bad play from my side i think. I could have controlled the pot :(.

It's a fold preflop. Don't open limp.

OTT if we enjoy burning money then we can fold.
