This Mazzzatraxen guy was a regular ABC player (according to H.U.D) and I had a sample of 400+ hands on him.
My reasoning to calling pre-flop was that he was very deep and I was getting great implied odds + I had position on him. Post-flop I checked behind because their was two overcards on the board and I was just gonna give up even though he didn't cbet it. His Cbet % was 50 (28 hands) and his Fold to cbet was 56% (18 hands).

The turn came a 5 and when he led out I thought that probably had an ace, I didn't put him on flush draw because he would of probably cbet the flop or the low ended straight because I didn't think he would raise 3x BB in early position with 3/4 or 7/8.
So seen as I had my set and there was a flush/straight draw I decided to raise him, he then snap min-raises me back and he did this VERY fast. At this point I only called because I thought he had a set of aces (unlikely I know) but it was really the only hand I could put him on because I doubt he would snap raise with A/K or any two pair hand. River comes the worst or best? card possible the 4 which now has 4 cards to a straight out their and I really didn't think he had the straight but I was so sure that he had a set of aces and of my read on him and was checking them because he was scared of straight that I checked back.

Did I miss value on this hand? Should I have raised more on the turn or even re-raised him? Any comments would be appreciated, thanks!
I will post the result of what hand he had after a few comments about the play :).

Get it in on the turn. The river is not a bad card, when is a 3 ever in his range? Definitely betting the river here.

Ye I do think that overall I missed value there, just thought that maybe he was scared of me having a 3 and was checking a made hand. Thanks for feedback.

"Lost Minimum or Lost Value?"

Has to be lost value. Anything better he would bet that river almost certainly.

Villain is almost always slowplaying something like AK, AA, or 66 if he's straightforward pre. There are way more combos of top pair than sets. Get it in.

If villain is a reg, is he really willing to dump 200+bbs on just TP? Idk, I can see why we just call the turn. I still want to bet river though

Its 5NL, the regs suck.
