If we are raising the turn then it should be way more than a min raise.

I think nearly all hands are calling that have us beat and any draws that missed we beat anyway so jamming seems a bit pointless.

I min raised the turn to represent the 8. Is it a fishy play? hehe. The check on the turn by the villain could be AK-AT and Face Cards range or TT below. Otherwise he is shoving with TT+ here.

The problem is you price him in so much.

imho hero should check holding a small pair, villain is not going to pay with air however if hero bets and villain shoves (bluffing or winning) then hero is in real trouble

I think i prefer just check the river here as we have some showdown value. If we bet small only a better hand is calling us.

So either check or bet a large amount which should be nothing less than 80 percent of the pot size so that it makes him tough to call if he has a pair of sevens or worse. However he can have over pairs in his range the way he played it so betting can risky.

First off, fold pre. He only has 100bbs to start and it's nowhere near a multi-way pot to let us be playing 54s here.

flop: call is fine.
turn: not sure what your really doing by raising. I understand your trying to rep 8x, which is okay I suppose, but if he 3b's us, we have to fold a hand w/some equity. Idk, I mean I guess it's okay? but it's just very fishy.

River: cib. Never getting value from anything here.

Be tight and aggressive. Tight is more important

Fold pre. Info on villain?

54s just to weak of a SC. I used to open up this hand in pos @ 2-4nl, wish I didn't lose my old database cause I'd show ya how this hands ev looks over thousands of hands. Looks bad

Thanks man for the update. I don't use HOM or PT. But for this hand. I bet 2 USD on the river and villain tanks. My image is wide, and he is a pretty tight range. He folded. Yeah i would agree that this could be folded preflop most of the times.

Yeah, that could be it but I have bet the river and villain folded. I could have checked and the villain could have show A7 or 33 :p.
