I don't get your reasoning for raising the turn

I agree. What were you hoping to accomplish with the turn raise?

For him to fold out. Min bet, a board that smacks my range. Yes the turn doesn't at all. His 5c bet?
Just call with 2nd pair here?

The turn card would have slowed me down if I was in OP's place. The Villian's range is extremely loose he could be holding a duece giving him a set on the turn. But why the min bet... (I am new to the forums and the world of real money poker so forgive me if I am missing something obvious).

Is it just me who actually likes the turn raise? What's so wrong with it? If he checked would we not bet there? Can we not take a min bet as essentially a check? I probably do raise here, dunno if its a leak or not but calling when he has so much shit seems silly, fwiw i dont raise as much as OP maybe half pot or so, and i raise it for value.

What do you think he's calling with that we beat? I'd much rather play this hand for 2 streets of value. Calling the turn min bet essentially let's me take a street off. Hate raising there.

Two streets of value makes sense and not a lot calls us that we beat, but surely draws are calling and Qx too. You probably are right that we want two streets of value, but the min bet just looks so weak and like he's on a draw here. What does he pot the flop with but then min bet the turn with? I suppose he could do that with Ace rags... If we want two streets of value could we not just raise here and check back the river? that way we keep in draws that we get 0 value from when he misses on the river?

Oh ****. I've been thinking the flop was double suited. Yeh fair point im an idiot.

But if A and Q are hearts would that change your decision? If they are then i have to bet when he min bets, i dont know if its right but that would be my reasoning.

My bad.

Probably still wouldn't raise the turn bet (certainly never as big as OP).
