MP1: $5.00
MP2: $11.95
CO: $3.33
BTN: $5.22
SB: $8.17
BB: $7.62
Hero (UTG): $9.15
UTG+1: $3.75
UTG+2: $6.04

MP1 posts a big blind ($0.05)

Pre Flop: ($0.12) Hero is UTG with K :spade: K :diamond:
Hero raises to $0.25, 3 folds, MP2 calls $0.25, 4 folds

Flop: ($0.62) J :club: 7 :diamond: 6 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.62, MP2 calls $0.62

Turn: ($1.86) A :club: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.93, MP2 calls $0.93

River: ($3.72) Q :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets $3.72, Hero folds

MP2 is 32 / 15 / 2.4 (28%) over 182 hands.
(Notes: Raise UTG+1 with KQo and fires 3 barrels on Q high board.)

Now, I am obviously putting him on a FD here since he looks like a guy who would raise turn if he had an Ace. When FD comes (by definitions gutshots and FDs come 80% of the time in 5NL if I am the preflop raiser and have initiative ) I decide to give up since I am behind pretty much anything he called 2 bets with. Correct?

I need general opinions on my line.

lines fine. Turn bet does look weak though after you pot the flop, against thinking players you would adjust this but at this stake it's probably fine.

Yeah, it is kind of obvious but I found that if I just fire away quickly (which I normally always do) people don't really pay attention to sizing.

- This way I am leaving myself space to fire a 3rd half-pot barrel if FD whiffs (and grudgingly fold to a shove). Is that a good idea or am I supposed to check/call the river here?

Best line is to check river if the FD misses. Whether you X/C or X/F is dependant on the player and their sizing. You are definitely looking to bluff catch on the river though.

With his stats (only 28% aggro frequency):
- Is he more likely to bluff river or just check back?
- Is he likely to call river with some kind of weaksauce pair (lets say he had a FD and a pair of Jacks)?

But yes now that I think about it checking river seems much better.

after some time thinking about this hand, yes i agree that you did the right move. is not easy fold KK, but maybe i would try to put more money on the pot at the flop. That A was a really good moment to check/fold

That flop looks terrifying. I might bet something like 1.5x to protect my hand.

Other than that I think the line is perfect. I might very well have done worse in your shoes. :D

No I really might have. :p I bet for super-thin value and get ridiculously spewy on occasion; it's my biggest leak by far.

Damn, you play on 9 sites? How?
No, I have accounts on 9 sites; I don't actually have any money on almost any of them. :p I actually only play on ACR plus the Bovada CC freeroll (which I am planning to play this week onwards) atm.

My biggest leak is that I assume by default that people actually have something resembling ranges and try putting them on them according to their stats :D talk about breeding ground for mistakes!
