Obviously, his turn bet was playing against the FD and SD, question is would a reraise be a smart move? Or should I just call the turn bet and if the straight doesn't hit, then c/c the river being as I'm OOP? (I personally think a c/f is better than c/c in the second situation)

His VPIP was 18, which would put me at a 57-43 disadvantage. But I took out QQ+, AQs+ and AKo, figuring those are hands he would 3bet preflop against me, and that made it closer to a coin flip, all according to pokerstove.

Your hand improved slightly on the turn so I'd continue betting. This way he might fold a queen etc and you name your price for your draw and to keep the lead with 3 pair.

Checking back the river if you miss is fine though.

C/C the flop

C/F the turn

Betting the flop dosent really accomplish much.

If he calls he usually has you beat.

If he has Ax he dosent have much equity so betting to fold out his equity share isnt all that important.

When you check, he can bluff. When you bet, he cant bluff call, he wont call with many worse hands and its not a board he can float on.

why the small bet on the flop

I've been varying my bet sizing on my cbets and was kinda weary about him having a K or Q (I realize now that I just justified Stu's c/c flop and c/f turn).

The more I look at this and talk about it, which I did with my boss at work today, even though he doesn't really play poker, the flop is a WA/WB type situation. I also don't like the way I played it overall the more I think about it. I played it exactly like a SD on the turn.

To take it a step further, with him calling the flop, and a couple people saying to bet the turn, what would be a good amount (in your all's opinion) to bet on the turn? I think if I would have taken that line, I would have bet around $.60-$.70.

I appreciate the responses guys.
