$5 NL HE Full Ring: Did I fold correctly?

I folded to a $2.60 raise, though at the time I wasn't sure if I did the right thing. Looking back it seems he could have easily had TT or QK. Does that seem right?

Stacks:

* MP2 with $6.23
* MP3 with $7.65
* CO with $3.47
* BTN with $4.97
* SB with $3.00
* BB with $9.69
* UTG with $5.02
* UTG+1 with $10.00
* MP1 with $0.44

Yeah I don't think a fold is a terrible thing here. It's hard to tell where you're at if you have no idea what the UTG is playing like. Not really sure what his limp means pre-flop. Could really be anything if it's the first hand, limping pocket pairs always comes to mind...

And just a little more off the subject, playing with 60BB's is gonna put you in more awkward situations with pot to stack size ratios on later streets, and a lot of theory/strategy is written for 100BB's (so playing with $5 at .02/.05). I would suggest you pick either short-stacking or playing with the full stack, instead of the in between.

Yeah, just usual stuff.. I would not limp J10 anyway

I dont see anything wrong with limping in the SB with J10. You could make a case for raising preflop, but with a few other players there's nothing wrong with seeing the pot in the SB for that price.

You will only bring yourself in problem.. This is a perfect example.. you hit top pair medium kicker.. you raise the flop, raise the turn, and get reraised on the river and than you have to lay it down

From the small blind this is a raise or fold hand. Raise so that you can either just take it preflop or c-bet the flop and take it down, if your c-bet meets resistance just drop it. Depending on the vilians though you might need to be ready to fire again on the turn though.

Also as was pointed out, play with a 100 bb stack (advice above) or use proper short stack strategy (Fold Preflop)

Yea, play with a 100bb stack, but i agree with the fold. It seems like he was just calling along hoping for a card and he hit it for the straight.
I say it was a good fold.
