$5 NL HE Full Ring: Did I

Hey all.
I played this hand and I don't know if I played it correctly.

I have $6.70 and he had $5.55. Blinds were 0.02/0.05

Well I had 22 in middle position and everyone folded to me. I limped and the button raised to 0.20. It was folded to me and I called and the flop came 2h 6h 9h. My opponent always cbet so I decided to check raise all in because the board was dangerous. Well I checked and he bet. I reraised all in and he snapped called with Ah As.

I had bottom set while he had over pair and flush draw. If I get enough replys I'll tell u the result. I reckon u can guess it.

Any advice good or bad will be very helping.

If no one has entered the pot yet, I would feel inclined to either raise or fold. Open limping has pretty much no benefits.

As played, c/r-ing here is definitely the right move, but I since we both have >100BB, c/r-ing all-in seems a little extreme. Maybe it's just me. A pot-sized re-raise seems more reasonable imo (although he has the odds to call a pot-sized raise-- most of his range, though, can't make that call properly).

Otherwise, you've got 2:1 equity here, so you can't be mad you got your chips in with the best hand. Generally, it is better to save your opponents hand until you get some feedback. I suspect you're just upset about the bad beat (which really isn't that bad of a beat, honestly). Better luck next time.

You already told us the results. Otherwise, I think this was played fine.
