If you don't start, then when will you ever be?
It's fine to 3Bet most of the time sure, but regs will rarely fold AJ+ and happily fold A2-A9. Therefore although you can 3Bet bluff you shouldn't do so with A9. Give me a scenario (other than coolering someone) where you feel you can show a profit OOP in a 3Bet pot where at most you are flipping equity wise. The only positive thing you have for your hand is the aggressive lead. Your opponent will have position and likely hand selection both working for him, giving him a decisive advantage over you any time you 3Bet bluff and get called.
Not to be too forceful on the issue, start out slowly developing a defending range and work from there. Create a thread in the cash forum once you have enough examples of tough spots you find yourself in and people will give you feedback. Hope this helps.
