CO is pretty unknown, 31 / 10 / 2% 3bet over 200 hands. AF 3 (37%).

This is currently my standard line with a flush draw OOP. I play sets the same way so the regs can't be 100% sure what I have.

1. Line check, especially sizing on the turn? I did stumble into some additional equity but lets say I didn't.
2. Is it worth it to take a shot at the river (in case he has a draw too or was trying to suck out), if yes what would be ideal sizing?
3. Is it bad to play sets this same way?

He limped preflop in CO so I am guessing he stumbled into some kind of bullshit 2 pair hand (or he is retarded and doesn't raise a pocket pair in CO and he has a set on the river, who knows). Seriously I have no idea what can he have here. Some of these muppets play AA like this.

Is this too standard to be worthy of reply or too stupid to bother? :p

I like the C/R on the flop. Follow through on the turn is standard (IMHO).

However, if villain called C/R on flop and turn bet, bluff on river was a bad move in my opinion. Villain is not folding here, no way.

C/F river.

Villain seems like he may have had 2 pair of some sort. K-7 or K-9 perhaps. I don't think a set is what villain has.

I think you played the hand well, except for the river. Sometimes you just have to surrender, and save yourself some money.

This is just my opinion, and by no means am I an expert.

I think, in a vacuum, it's OK (on flop and turn). I think against this villain, who seems rather passive, I'd not pump so much money in when he pots the flop and calls a C-R. This runout is terrible to barrel because no one is ever folding a K, if he has a flush draw you're ahead so pretty much c/f (c/c if he bets lol small).

I think flop and turn are fine, however the river doesn't change much, so we just turn 9x into a bluff we have SD value which I'd try and take. Are we trying to take him off Kx here? If so; river is the worse card for it.

Thx guys.

baudib1 - I figured the turn sizing can't be too small (I have to tell some kind of coherent story and this sizing looks like value betting, most likely with a set).

I am unsure about this line since if I hit all is well and I get paid decently (usually I decently estimate how much will get called on the river from known players) but if I miss I would like to "win" some of the money back via a correct bluff...

Beanfacekilla, ramdebaam - Yeah I am trying to convince him I have a set since this line is super strong-looking... so this is why I think he likely has a set, don't think he can really raise a 2 pair hand and get called by worse. I am kind of polarized here. On the other hand, why doesn't he raise it preflop? I just find his play illogical.

I don't have enough experience to judge if it is even worth trying to pull river bluff off.
River is definitely dodgy both as a decision and sizing-wise... so I guess chk/folding is the best option :( It does make me super transparent since I definitely bet sets there but probably not enough people notice this.
